Anthony Ray "Tony" Marble

Anthony Ray “Tony” Marble, 55, of Edina, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Tony was born June 7, 1971, in Kirksville, Missouri, to Terry and Rose (Simmons) Marble. He graduated from Knox County High School in 1989 and earned an Associate Degree in Accounting from Gem City Business College. Tony grew up working in the family business, Marble’s Ready Mix, doing everything from janitorial duties and filling trucks to climbing to the top of the cement bins. He worked for Terry Marble’s Construction from 1988 to 1991 before joining Edina Farm & Home Supply in 1991. In 1995, he purchased the store, where he spent the next 30 years as owner and manager. His years in the hardware business made him a lifelong handyman and a familiar face in the community. In April 1995, Tony was united in marriage to Kyane Hawkins. Tony enjoyed hunting, boating, restoring cars, and, most of all, watching and participating in whatever his boys were involved in. He was a member of the Edina Assembly of God Church and the Baring Country Club and served as chairman of the Knox County Communications Board. Above all, Tony was a great father, a loving husband, and a loyal friend. He took tremendous pride in Tanner and Carter, shared a loving life with Kyane, and was happiest when spending time with his family and friends. Tony was especially close to Kyane’s grandparents, Delbert and Jeanie Hawkins, and shared a lifelong bond with her aunt and uncle, J.L. and Belinda Brenizer, and their sons, Chase and Nick, and their families. J.L. was a mentor and dear friend to Tony. He also shared a particularly close relationship with Kyane’s uncle and aunt, Michael and Kathy. These relationships were an important part of Tony’s life, and he treasured the family and friendships they shared. Tony is survived by his wife, Kyane Marble; sons, Tanner Marble and fiancée Abigail Hall, and Carter Marble; father, Terry Marble; mother-in-law, Sadie Hawkins Baker; sisters, Tammy Marble Kriegshauser and Tracie Marble (Rex) Lingenfelter; sister-in-law, Megan Baker; brother-in-law, Miles Baker; and numerous extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose (Simmons) Marble; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Verne Marble; maternal grandparents, John and Beulah (Walker) Simmons; and brother-in-law, Pat Kriegshauser. .

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 25, 2026, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. till time of services at 11 a.m. Pastor Brian Burton will officiate the services.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date in the Linville Cemetery. Recorded musical selections by Alan Jackson will be Remember When and Drive .

Pallbearers will be Jeff Hamlin, Jeremy Hamlin, Kirk Strange, Chase Brenizer, Nick Brenizer and Bill Whiles.  Honorary bearers will be employees past & present of Edina Farm & Home.
