Anna Lee Minor, age 92 of Memphis, MO, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018, in the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis, MO.  She was born in Akron, OH on February 26, 1926, the daughter of Roy and Dale Miller Wright.

She was united in marriage to George Riley Minor on Jun 14, 1953 in Akron, OH and he preceded her in death on October 2, 1985.  Anna was also preceded in death by her parents, her step mother, Codelia Scarberry Wright and one sister, Virginia Ruth Stewart.

Surviving are two children, Joyce Ann (John) Lay of Lakewood, CA, and Alan R. Minor of Memphis, MO, and three grandchildren Anna Lay, Virginia Lay and Cynthia Goforth.

Anna was raised in Akron, OH where she received her education.  Anna received her education in Akron, OH.   She and her husband lived in California from 1962 to 1973.  In 1973 they moved to Rutledge, MO where they were engaged in farming.  For the last ten years she has resided in the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis, MO.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and Gardening.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2018, in the Newark Cemetery.  There will be no visitation.   Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle is in charge of the arrangements.
