Alma Ilene Oliver, age 92, of Edina, MO, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017, in the Arbors at Highland Crest in Kirksville, MO.   She was born December 25, 1924, in Jackson County, KS, the daughter of William E. and Alma Cathrine Jauken Smith.

She was united in marriage to Forrest Wayne Oliver on August 1955 in Lincoln, NE and he preceded her in death on August 4, 2011.

Alma was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister and one grandchild Darryn Morrison.

Surviving are one daughter Kathleen (Rick) Pinson of Edina, MO, two grandchildren Gretchen Haage of Queen City, MO, and Eric Morrison of Warsaw, IL, two great grandchildren, Aaron Haage and Tahnee Forquer, two great great-granddaughters, Katie and Emmaleigh Haage and several nieces and nephews.

Alma graduated from High School in Jackson County, KS.  She resided for a number of years  with her husband in Lincoln, NE where she was employed as a Dental Hygienist at the University of Nebraska Dental School.   Alma enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, quilts and spending time with family.

Alma's wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held.  Memorials in memory of Alma Ilene Oliver may be made to the Knox County Library in Edina, MO.  Memorials may be left at or mailed to Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1, Edina, MO, 63537.
