Alice L. Thurow, 89 of LaBelle, Missouri passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the LaBelle Manor Care Center.

Mrs. Thurow was born March 9, 1928, in Aurora, Illinois to H. Edward Baker and Ruth E. (Davis) Baker.

Survivors include daughters Susan (Larry) Evans of Aurora, IL, Sherry (Louis) Wold Lockport, IL, and sons Scott Thurow of Kiowa, KS and Steven Thurow of Bloomfield, IA. She is also survived by four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren.

Her husband preceded her in death in October 22, 2002. Her parents and sisters Wanda Tendall, Ruth Calvert and Leah Porto and a brother Larry Baker preceded her in death.

Mrs. Thurow was an avid reader through her life. She and her maternal grandmother shared the same birthdate.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017, in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, Missouri.  Rev. Louis Wold will officiate the services.   Musical selections will be Amazing Grace and I Can Only Imagine.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 prior to the service at the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO.

Burial will be at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Aurora IL at 2:00 p.m. on Friday November 24, 2017.
