Alice Colleen Daggett, age 95, of Novelty, MO passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025, in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
Alice was born November 9, 1929, in Edina, MO the daughter of Hiram Browning and Olcie May Garnett Rose. She was united in marriage to Norman Ray Daggett on May 7, 1949, in Quincy, IL. and he preceded her in death on May 29, 2002. Alice was also preceded in death by her parents, and one daughter Sandra Irene Russell.
Surviving are one son Michael (Susan) Daggett of Quincy, IL, six grandchildren Eric (Devin) Daggett, Amanda Daggett and Mark Kohl, Lucas Daggett, Shawn (Rachel) Russell, Sara (Frank Twomen, Sam Russell, thirteen great grandchildren, Koda Veihl, Michaela Veihl, Erika Veihl, Chloey Daggett, Schuyler Daggett, Emma Russell, Skyler Russell, Lamar Clay, Jordan Clay, Anthony Clay, Alyxsandra Russell, Samuel Russell, Hunter Bunch, Brianna Knight, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Colleen graduated from Novelty High School and Gem City Business College. After business college she was later employed at Klines Clothing as a bookkeeper. She played the saxophone in school and also played the piano and organ. She had a beautiful musical voice. She enjoyed doing crafts, painting, crocheting, crossword puzzles, sudoku and playing bingo.
Colleen was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and loved being with her family. She was especially fond of her farm animals including her kittens and cats.
Colleen and Norman spent many years in the Quincy area and in 1977 they moved to the family farm in the Novelty area where she again applied her business and accounting skills for record keeping of the farm and other businesses including the gas station in Novelty. Never being able to drive she especially enjoyed going to various places on the oat's bus.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2025, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Officiating the services will be Reverend Michael Ryan. Burial will be in the Novelty Cemetery, Novelty, MO.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 10 a.m. in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO.
