Alexander Earl Whitehead, age 34 born June 26, 1991 to Debbie Platt.  Last seen July 29th and found August 5th.

Survived by his mother, sister Ashley Kirchner and her children Lauren, Ivy and Ian, brother Adam Hickman, his beloved dog Bones, girlfriend Heather Mollett, aunt Cindy, cousins James, Shawn and Joe Whitehead, uncle Chris (Soyoun) and Izzy Mozingo, as well as the Dean family.  On his dad's side he leaves behind the Russell family including siblings Amanda, Stephanie, Dustin and Austin.

He was preceded in death by his dad Robert Edwin "Bobby" Russell, uncles Richard and Mike Whitehead and aunt Rosie Whitehead.

Alex was a simple, very humble soul.  He kept enemies close and loved ones closer.  My protector, handyman and go to guy when ever my struggles were real.  Life will never be the same since you are gone.  Fly high you are free my precious baby, 'Love Mom".

As we have to say goodbye to Alex let us all remember the love and laughter he brought to our lives.  Family was so important to him and though he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will be with us forever reminding us to cherish each other and hold on tight to family. Forever in our hearts love you brother.

He loved hard, had a huge heart and was so loyal. He had a smile that would make anyone's day brighten up and he loved to show love to people.  He also was very caring to people. Rest in peace my brother, till we meet again, one love.

Alex may have lived a simple life but he was also a complex person.  He had a loving heart but he didn't always have the ability to share it fully.  He had a determined spirit that he expressed through his words and actions.  We know he loved life & he loved his family.  He will be missed.

A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 16th from 12 noon till 4 p.m. in the Coder Funeral Chapel in LaBelle, MO.
